This is a grafted version of Bishop's Cap, also known as . Astrophytum means ‘star’ in Greek – the succulent gets its name because of its characteristic shape. The plant exhibits varied geometrical shapes with distinct vertical ribs that grow stout and prominent with time. Not just that, the plant bears scented blossoms during the blooming months. Astrophytum myriostigma belongs to the Cactaceae family and has its origin in Mexico. The winter-dormant succulent has a slow growth rate, growing up to a height of 0.6 meters, and needs partial shade to full sun exposure to thrive.
